Afternoon all,
Tomorrow's Event 930am-300pm at the Hope Bottle Depot
I hope you all are safe, warm, dry and doing well. I have spoken with Tessa Poole and she indicated that there has been a lot of donations already collected along with a list of locations in Hope to collect more tomorrow. She indicated her biggest need for tomorrow is sorters at the bottle depot. Tessa and a few others will be at the depot before 930am to start unloading their very full vehicles with bottles/empties, the depot is open from 930am to 300pm, with the last drop-off to the depot is 130pm to ensure all bottles are sorted on-time.
Tessa has Hope area community maps so there is no overlap of collecting bottles. She also has the sign-in and out sheet which enables me to determine how to divide the profits of this event. You, the student, will also need to indicate if there is someone else at the event to support you, they need to sign-in and out as well ADDITONALLY you or someone there to support you that is offering a vehicle needs to sign-in and out when the vehicle is in use as this adds to the student's portion of the profits. If in doubt of how this works, speak with Tessa at tomorrow's event.
So far 8 loads have been picked up with 15 more slatted for tomorrow in addition to whatever is donated tomorrow from going into the community. If you have questions, please contact Tessa at pooled@telus.net or 604-869-6193.
Drive safe, dress for the weather and all the best with this event.
If you have questions, please contact me via email or cell.

I would like to acknowledge that Hope Secondary School is situated on the traditional ancestral and unceded shared territory of the Chawathil people of the Tiyt Tribe. The Tiyt Tribes of the Stó:lō territory extend along the boundaries down both sides of the Fraser River from Yale to Seabird. We thank you for welcoming us to the territory and allowing us to carry out the work we are doing today.
