Morning Adrienne,
Thank you for the email. I was able to speak with them yesterday and we discussed means for accurate and direct communications.
I am not sure what you are suggesting or alluding to regarding ' … no communication. Which alot of parents are getting used to with this Grad Year.' I look forward to discussing this with you and clarifying your statement as I have sent numerous emails this school year.

I would like to acknowledge that Hope Secondary School is situated on the traditional ancestral and unceded shared territory of the Chawathil people of the Tiyt Tribe. We thank you for welcoming us to the territory and allowing us to carry out the work we are doing today.

To whom it may concern,
I just came from the bottle depot and they were not informed that the school had cancelled. They brought in extra staff, which have now told to go home but had to pay for their hours.
I find this to be in very poor taste and why was it not communicated with them. Another thing where there was a miscommunication or should I say no communication. Which alot of parents are getting used to with this Grad Year.
I thought it should be shared since it cost them money today.
Kind regards

ATTENTION all,
Please note that the two bottle drives planned for April 22nd and May 27th have been CANCELED as a Grad Fundraiser and have been offered to our school sports teams as their fundraiser activities. Mrs. Broswick, thank you for connecting with our coaches on this opportunity.
I met with Grad Exec and this decision was based on the number of school-organized (2) and parent-organized (3) bottle drives thus far, a Legion Meat draw, a Christmas plant sale, an in-school bake sale (another one planned – signup on the grad board), a Pub Night at the Silver Chalice and a Pasta Night at Stallones this month and the Spring plant sale that ended this past Friday.
We have had a lot of and still to come fundraising opportunities for our grade 12s and their families that wanted to participate.
If there are any questions, please contact me.

Re: Class of 2023 Fundraiser & GRAD info - UPDATE !!!
Good morning Karl,
There has been very poor communication with this group. Parents don't know what is going on and still don't get emails, even with many attempts to receive information. We have no say in fundraising ideas, yet are told to participate. No parent meetings have been called this entire time so some of us don't even know each other and dont know how to contact or connect with each other. And even the students, who have graduated so no longer attending the school, have no idea what is going on. Again, this is just feedback that I have gotten from others and I have to agree with them.
Kind regards
Adrienne Vacula-McKinnon
