New STEAM Horizon Awards for high school students

Do you know one or more students who stand out as leaders, achievers, or innovators? With limitless drive, ambition, and determination?

There’s a new opportunity for up to seven students each to receive a $25,000 prize for their post-secondary education — including two prizes for Indigenous youth.

Deadline for applications: January 9, 2017

Eligibility:

Must be a Canadian citizen, or permanent resident of Canada
Must be between 16 and 18 years old at the time of application
Must be recognized for STEAM-related accomplishments (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math)
Must be maintaining a minimum academic average of 85%
Must either be preparing to enroll, or currently enrolled, in their first year of post-secondary education. The enrolment must be in a STEAM field in Canada

Nouveaux prix Horizon STIAM pour les élèves du secondaire

Connaissez-vous des étudiantes et des étudiants qui se démarquent comme chef de file, bâtisseur ouinnovateur? Dont la motivation, l’ambition et la détermination sont sans limites?

Sept d’entre eux, dont deux étudiants autochtones, ont la possibilité de recevoir 25 000 $ chacun pour leurs études postsecondaires.

Date limite pour présenter une demande : 9 janvier 2017

Admissibilité :

être citoyen canadien ou résident permanent
être âgé de 16 à 18 ans au moment de la demande
être reconnu pour des réalisations en STIAM (sciences, technologies, ingénierie, arts, mathématiques)
maintenir une moyenne scolaire d’au moins 85 %
être déjà inscrit, ou en processus de l’être, en première année d’études postsecondaires, dans un domaine de STIAM au Canada
