Update
Bottle Drive – we now have TWO (2) bottle drives scheduled with the Hope Bottle Depot … Feb 4th will be a smaller one, not community door-to-door based, but rather for community members and businesses that either contacted us or we have contacted them. The second, LARGER BOTTLE DRIVE, will be Feb 18th after SUPER BOWL weekend. Grad Exec will continue to contact business for another pickup on that date (Feb 4 and 18). This change came via conversations as a means to increase the raised funds for the Class of 2023.
We have a parent that has stepped up to be the lead on this event -thank you. We will still need other volunteers to support this event, please email me. This need will be for BOTH dates (Feb 4 and 18).
Grad Exec will be creating and posting a sign-up sheet on the grad bulletin board later this week.

The Yummy Yummy Bake Sale this past week went very well – almost $400 raised – WAY TO GO TEAM!!
Grad Exec will be providing me with details of who all participated, baked, worked the table, … for the calculations of dividing up the proceeds from the event. There were some goodies left and they will be available for all grade 12s to share during on Monday. They will be put out on a table at the back of the café for you to stop by and enjoy a treat – a great way to start exam week 😊
Grad Exec was hopeful to have a general grade 12 meeting during FLEX this week, but as we are still waiting on replies from our possible PROM venues, our meeting will be held next week (Jan 31-Feb 3). Please listen for announcements.
Dessert Theatre – Mar 15 – please watch for info … looking for acts (parents too 😊), stage hands, lighting, baking, silent auction items, 50/50, community donations, …. We will need parents to volunteer to help cook the meal, work the entrance table and collect funds and donation. We will also need students and families to gather and/or donate items towards the silent auction and work the 50/50 tickets during the program intermission. Volunteers will also be needed at the end of the program to help collect the winning bids from the auction. Please email me regarding this need.
