Class of 2022 Graduation Celebrations - Jun 4/5/20 2022

Hello everyone,

 

Apologies for the typo on the graduation commencement date, not sure what happened there as it has been June 4th in all the other communications. Below is a summary of our events with dates and times. A reminder that the grad fee/info packages are available for pickup at the office and outstanding fees are due Tuesday, May 24th, 2022. If you are etransferring the payment, please note the students name and that the payment is for grad fees, thank you.

 

 

 

Hope Secondary Graduation 2022 Weekend Itinerary

 

June 4th GRADUATION COMMENCEMENT 2022

 

Hope Secondary – Gymnasium

 

 

 

11:00 AM                    * Grade 12s arrive at the Commons Room with their cap, gown, tassel and honour cord if applicable.

 

11:30 PM                    * All guest should be seated in the gymnasium.

 

11:45 AM                    * Grade 12s will line up in alphabetical order according to your last name, begin procession into the gym at noon, as practiced.

 

12:00 PM                    Commencement starts

 

2:30 – 3:00 PM           * Commencement ceremony is complete – photo opportunities, return gowns and vee-stoles in the Commons' Room … grads are to keep their cap, tassel and honour cord, if applicable, as a souvenir.

 

 

June 5th GRADUATION PROM 2022

 

Sunshine Valley Hall

 

Please note times of activities, but consider them suggestions and approximate

 

1:00 PM                      Hope Friendship Garden for individual and group photos – self organized

 

3:30 PM                      **LifeTouch Photography will be set up at the Sunshine Valley Hall . If you are interested in having your family or group of friends photographed, a variety of packages are available. **

 

5:00 PM                      Grads gather for group photos (LifeTouch)

 

5:30 – 5:45 PM           Grads and their guest enter the hall for prom celebration

 

5:55 – 6:00 PM           Keynote Address

 

6:00 PM                      Dinner (Lori's Catering)

 

7:30 PM                      Dance (Andy Soul Entertainment)

Dry Grad Event - PARENT CONSENT FORM

I request that he/she participate in the following school field trip:

 

1.           Purpose:                                          Dry Grad Activity

 

2.           Destination:                                    We will be bussing to Maple Ridge, Abbotsford and then back to Hope. There we will be participating in a Dry Grad Wild Adventure event and then dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It will be a 2-3-hour WildPlay Adventure activity and then dinner out. The day will consist of an adventurous and adrenaline filled afternoon along with a wonderful dinner out to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Abbotsford.

 

                                                                        Possible Add-On:            Extreme Course $15.00

3.           Vehicle:                                           School Bus

 

4.           Pre-Group Activity at HSS:           10:00 AM – 10:30AM, June 20, 2022

 

5.           Date & time of departure:           10:45 AM, June 20, 2022             (from Hope Secondary School)

 

6.           Date & time of return:                  6:00 PM, June 20, 2022                (to Hope Secondary School)

 

7.           Dinner:                                            the Old Spaghetti Factory – Abbotsford, BC (menu below)
